HELP ONE

2024

Jenny P:

Jenny is a highly talented musician who has been in the EU for only a year and is trying to establish herself professionally with her musical abilities. Her stay in Germany is uncertain for two reasons: firstly, because her student visa does not grant automatic work authorization, and secondly, because she is also dealing with health issues, and the necessary therapies are not covered by the student insurance. We have been able to help Jenny afford a German course, and also repair or restore her violin bow. Additionally: Thank you, Gunter G., for supporting her with a four-figure contribution towards her supplementary insurance!

Recreation for refugee children in Salzburg: (Grünbichlhof, Aigen)

Children learn the German language through fun activities by playing, singing, sports, general creativity and healthy eating.

They process trauma and mental stress; they come to rest and have normality. In Grünbichlhof awaits a group of professionals: kindergarten teachers, social workers, psychologists and doctors.

Every Saturday and Sunday morning they will be picked up, accompanied by mothers approximately 15 children and in the evening brought back.

On Grünbichlhof they will find a friendly atmosphere and affection; a place where they will recover mentally and physically.

…and also very simple goals: things like to take a shower, put on warm clean clothes, and to leave their everyday life for a few hours…

This program will be extended to the months of autumn and winter.
